The 16 Pro Max grew to 6.9 inches with a thinner border than any iPhone before it, which leaves very little margin for a mis-cut protector. Ours is sized to the active panel with a 0.4mm relief at the contoured edge so the case still seats flush.
The Dynamic Island cutout is shared with the 16 Pro but sits on a taller panel — a 16 Pro protector will not align here.
Doesn't fit: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus or iPhone 16 Pro — different panel size or cutout, despite being in the same iPhone 16.

Four steps, ten minutes

Wipe with the alcohol pad, then the microfibre. Lift any remaining dust with a sticker — a single speck is what causes a permanent bubble.

Seat the alignment frame over the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It registers against the frame edges, so there is only one way it sits.
- 03
Peel the backing, lower the glass onto the centre of the panel and let go. The adhesive pulls itself outward from the middle.

Press any remaining edge gently toward the border. Small perimeter bubbles clear on their own within 24 hours.

Questions about the iPhone 16 Pro Max
Does this affect Face ID on the iPhone 16 Pro Max?
No. The TrueDepth array reads through the Dynamic Island cutout, which is cut clear rather than covered. Face ID performance is unchanged, including in the dark.
Will it fit inside a MagSafe case?
Yes. The glass stops 0.4mm short of the contoured edge, which clears every case we have tested including Apple’s own silicone and FineWoven cases.
Does the 16 Pro protector fit the 16 Pro Max?
No. The 16 Pro is 6.3 inches and the Pro Max is 6.9 inches. The cutouts are the same shape but the panels are different sizes, so the alignment is off by several millimetres.
