Google moved the Pro XL to a flat panel with squared corners, which allows a cut that reaches almost to the frame. Calibrated over the optical fingerprint reader so it stays fast in low light.
Flat 6.8-inch panel — the Pixel 9 Pro at 6.3 inches needs a different cut.

Four steps, ten minutes

Wipe with the alcohol pad, then the microfibre. Lift any remaining dust with a sticker — a single speck is what causes a permanent bubble.

Seat the alignment frame over the Pixel 9 Pro XL. It registers against the frame edges, so there is only one way it sits.

Peel the backing, lower the glass onto the centre of the panel and let go. The adhesive pulls itself outward from the middle.

Press any remaining edge gently toward the border. Small perimeter bubbles clear on their own within 24 hours.
